About

I graduated with a B.A. in Drama from the University of California, Irvine in 2006 and loved it so much that I decided to stay at UCI and work as an academic advisor for Undecided/Undeclared undergraduates, students who come into college without a major.  While I was a student, I was very involved.  I worked for housing, I worked as a Peer Academic Advisor, I worked as a box office attendant at the local community theatre, I co-founded a creative journal named Cellador, I designed props and costumes for some student theatrical productions, I volunteered overseas, and I took leadership positions within the Campuswide Honors Program, of which I was a member.  Still, in my current position as an academic advisor, I am always learning about new opportunities for students and I constantly look back and say, "I wish I would have..." for at least a hundred things.  The undergraduate experience has the potential to be the most enriching, enjoyable, and impactful time in a person's life.  For that reason, I have started this blog: to share with all of the prospective and current college students out there, and those of you that might know one of these students, at least one hundred reasons why college is AWESOME!
